Victor Currie is leading the expansion of the award-winning Unvert Group at Douglas Elliman into the Los Angeles market. Bringing more than 30 years of experience leading media, advertising, and marketing companies to real estate, Victor looks at each transaction as a project that has its own unique challenges and strategic opportunities.

A lifelong resident of Los Angeles and Orange Counties (much of it both at the same time) he has unique insights into how different areas can best fit people’s needs.

Victor brings to real estate decades of marketing and media experience as a producer, director, and creative director of television programs, commercials, and Internet media; as host/anchor of satellite business television and entertainment radio broadcasts; and as owner/partner in multiple companies providing marketing and media production services to major regional and national companies. When he transitioned from real estate investor to Realtor®, he found that the skills from his previous businesses translated perfectly: Negotiating complex high-pressure large-money deals, designing award-winning creative marketing campaigns, and getting all the players involved working together as a team to reach the common goal of a successful transaction (plus having been a VIP Tour Guide at Universal Studios in his younger days, he gives a great home tour).

For Sellers, we create specific marketing plans designed to target qualified buyers who don’t just want the home but can complete and close the transaction. I ascribe to the concept that if you’re marketing to everyone, you’re marketing to no one. That’s why we look at the various likely buyer personas and aim at the ones most likely to pay top dollar for your home. In these days when everyone has access to the public listing data, our job as advisers is to go above and beyond just listing the home and putting up a sign. It’s targeting the buyer who can close on the home despite it being a volatile marketplace.”
